The Importance of Rest

It is important that we remember to rest after a hard days work We should be getting at least 8hrs of restful sleep each night.

Our stomachs need at least 5-6hrs of rest at the end of each meal so that it has energy for the beginning of your next meal. If your stomach doesn’t get this all important rest The liver intestines skin pancreas and kidneys have to work harder. This means that the brain and heart has to work harder also This is not ideal.
