A Faith Filled Prayer

Today’s Prayer

Oh Lord, Help me be strong and courageous.

Empower, lift up, and encourage me that I will not be terrified of any thing, person nor circumstance, neither let me be discouraged, for You, the Lord my God will be with me wherever I go (Joshua 1:9).

No matter what I face today, I know that You are with me and Your Holy Spirit lives within me and has sealed me unto the day of redemption.

I know that the blood of Jesus has covered my sin and washed me white as snow, that I may be righteous in Him and live unto Him.

I praise You and thank You Lord Almighty for Your strength, power, grace, mercy, and love.

May You be glorified in all the earth, and through my life.

InΒ Jesus’ name I pray.

Amen.

Blue-Brain

English: Blueberries.

It’s All About The Blueberries

Blueberries help protect the brain from damage that is caused by free radicals,Β  research in animals have shown, and it also may help to reduce the effects of Alzheimer’s disease or dementia.

Studies have also shown that diets that includes a healthy amount of the fruit improved both the learning and muscle function of aging rats making them mentally equivalent to younger rats. If it can do that for animals, just think how much more our brains will improve.

My New Muse: Don’t Take Your Spirit Away

I have been a fan of Deitrick Haddon for quite a long time, even though I have only just discovered this song. It’s not very new, but it has currently been on repeat for quite a while on my phone.

I am so excited to share it with you because I think that you would like it too.

Here is the song for you to listen too. I hope you enjoy it!

Whole Grains and The Brain

Barley is a major animal feed crop.

Add Avocados and Whole Grains

advocado

Eating whole grains and fruits such as avocado can reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease and lower bad cholesterol. This helps to reduce the risk of plaque buildup which is helpful because every organ in the body depends on blood low, especially the heart and brain. Eating these foods can offer a tasty but simple way to fire up brain cells which is what everybody wants :).

Avocados have good monounsaturated fats in it that contributes to healthy blood flow.

As well as helping your brain, eating whole grains like popcorn and whole wheat contributes to your vitamin E and dietary fibre intake. And if that wasn’t enough, popcorn is also said to be a lot healthier than a packet of crisps- so feel free to dig in with no shame!
